VLS Hair strives to accommodate all clients fairly because time is valuable. Because services are "by appointment only" last minute cancellations can have a great impact on business and others wishing to be serviced during the same time. NO WALK INS

Appointment requests must be made through online booking. Appointments by Text, Call or Direct Message are NOT permitted. If you contact via text/dm for an appointment, you will be redirected to the booking page. Appointment slots are first come first serve. If you book an appointment in shop you may pay your deposit in person or through the email sent to you. If you fail to confirm and pay your deposit within 2 hours your appointment request will expire. 

ONLY the person booked for the appointment may attend. No additional people or children or are allowed! We DO NOT service children under age 10. 


Most styling where hair is added requires the client's hair to be a minimum of 3 inches in length. Hair shorter than 3 inches may require a different style and additional charges may apply. Failure to disclose actual hair length may result in your appointment being cancelled and deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances. Unless you have elected to have a Cleanse, Condition, Blow Dry (CCB) Service, Hair MUST be clean, dry and TANGLE-FREE prior to your appointment. (We must be able to part your hair with a comb with ease) If you are natural, be sure your hair is blown out or stretched. Only press hair if you have a BLUNT CUT, it's also best for feed in styles for best results. If your hair is not tangle free and requires additional work...additional fees will apply or if time does not permit, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit is non refundable. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and are required for ALL appointments. Appointments will not be accepted until deposit has been paid. Deposits are REQUIRED to hold your time slot and purchase supplies for preparation. This allows prep time to be done before you arrive so you can be in the chair for the least amount of time possible. Deposit amounts are applied to the balance of the scheduled appointment.  Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event your appointment request is declined or cancelled by VLS Hair, your deposit for that request will be refunded. 

The Deposit schedule is as follows:

  • All services: $25

  • Services greater than 5 hours: $50  

  • Faux Locs/ Human Hair: $50



We hope you don't have to cancel but we understand things happen. Each appointment is allowed rescheduling up to 1 time. Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours notice.  No deposit refunds will be given for rescheduling or cancellation.   On the 2nd attempt to reschedule, your appointment will be cancelled and deposit is then forfeited. You will then need to request a new appointment and pay a new deposit. In the event you are asked to reschedule by VLS Hair, this will not count against the 1 time reschedule option. 

  • If you book and pay a deposit for a time slot, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE

  • If you reschedule more than 1 time, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE

  • If you request an appointment and it is approved, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE

  • If you request to change your service, Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and will only be transferred at the discretion of VLS HAIR. 

If you fail to provide information needed to complete your appointment (such as hair types and colors) within 72 hours of your appointment, your appointment may cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.


Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that  appointment time, and clients on the waiting list miss the opportunity  to receive services. Appointment reminders are sent out periodically because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a  Cancellation fee will apply to the card used to book the appointment.

Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. If you need to reschedule, you will need to book a new appointment. 

“NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.  - After 1 NO SHOW, a deposit equal to 
100% of your service will be due at time of your next booking.

After 2 consecutive cancellations, a deposit equal to 50% of your service will be due at time of your next booking.


**Habitual cancellations or rescheduling may also result in being blocked from future bookings**

The cancellation policy allows time to inform  standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping the scheduled filled, thus better serving everyone. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No Shows & Late Arrivals

If you fail to show for your scheduled appointment, your  deposit if forfeited immediately.  If you are more than 15 mins late a $25 fee will be assessed. If you are more than 30 minutes late and fail to give notice, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit is forfeited immediately and cancellation fees will apply. Habitual tardiness, or cancellations may result in being blocked from future bookings.

If you are not able to find an appointment that works for you, you can sign up for the WaitList in that month to be notified of last minute openings.



Pricing is non-negotiable and subject to change at any given time. Pricing is locked in at time of confirmation for each appointment. If a price changes before your scheduled appointment you will not be charged the new price. If the price for your service is lowered for a promotion, the promotional price will be honored. Promotions are offered via email periodically so sign up for notifications.


Hair and supplies are provided for certain services. This ensures you are receiving the highest quality hair and products for the service you are requesting. There are NO discounts for those who wish to supply their own hair and/or products. If you wish to provide your own Hair and supplies, VLS Hair cannot guarantee the quality of your results and no refunds will be given. Hair is NOT included for styles requiring Marley hair Crochet Styles or Passion Twists.


There are NO REFUNDS for completed services, products sales and DEPOSITS! All Sales are final, NO RETURNS or REFUNDS


It is the responsibility of the client to disclose any health conditions, hair loss, scalp conditions, allergies  or disabilities prior to your appointment so that you can be better serviced.  This includes disclosure of contagious or infectious diseases. If you have hair loss or a specific hair condition that requires special attention, you must schedule a consultation first before booking an appointment. Failure to disclose may result in your appointment being cancelled or rescheduled. Results cannot be guaranteed and refunds will NOT be issued. It is the client's responsibility to properly maintain and care for the style. VLS Hair will not be responsible and no refunds will be given for failure to follow after care  instructions after services are rendered. 


Due to the nature of the business, we rely on quality photos and videos to showcase our work. Photos/videos may be taken of your hair during the process. Identities are always protected unless provided consent. All photos/videos are the property of VLS Hair. 

Rights & Safety

VLS Hair and it's Braiders have the right to refuse service for any reason. Under federal anti-discrimination laws, businesses can refuse service to any person for any reason, unless the business is discriminating against a protected class. At the national level, protected classes include: Race or color. National origin or citizenship status. Reasons for refusal may include but are not limited to: Rude, mean or disrespectful behavior; violence of any kind, suspicion of infectious disease, or consistent tardiness. Keep your belongings in sight.
